Job Mission

We are looking to hirea highly motivated technical individual to support our state of the art Optical Proximity Correction product (OPC+). This intern position will be in our OPC PEG (Product Engineering Group) organization and focus more on advanced techniques. In this role, you will learn to improve OPC+ competitiveness by internal studies, innovative new ideas,advanced and new techniques such as Inverse Lithography and Machine Learning.

Job Description

The Product Engineering group is responsible for Tool Benchmark / New engagements, Product Definition (PRD), release testing with acceptance tests, second-line support of current accounts, and Training (internal / external). The team functions as a link between R&D and customers and interacts with most of the other teams (Marketing, Field, Sales, QA, etc.); therefore this job provides a broad exposure to whole pictures of the product. PEG engineers play a key role in shaping and directing product growth and development:

  • Test and qualify the new feature and improvement
  • Help to define the details of new product features and improvements
  • Understand the request/feedback from customers
  • Engage in benchmark/evaluation, and provide the best solution to the team

Education

PhD. or Master'sin Electrical Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Optics, Physics, Imaging Science, Mechanics, or equivalent experiences.

Experience

Experience in computer-aided design, optimizations, or product developments in applied optics, applied physics, optical engineering, machine learning and/or relevant fields.

  • Quick learner and flexibility are key attributes.
  • Ability to work independently and also effectively in a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Context of the position

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
