Job Mission

The mission of this internship is to support ASML work in the fields of computational Lithography and Metrology

Job Description

ASML is looking for a graduate-school level summer intern to carry out experimental analysis and simulation assessments of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) patterning.The project will analyzing massive e-beam and optical metrology datasets and evaluating new analysis methods for reducing the datasets to actionable metrics.In addition, the project will integrate process simulation methods and tools to improve understanding of the experimental datasets.In the course of the internship, the intern will have the opportunity to interact with engineering teams throughout ASML.This will allow them to integrate existing knowledge and analysis tools into the analysis.

Education

We are looking for candidates currently in a graduate-level program in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or similar field.

Experience

We are looking for candidates with Bachelor’s level degrees that are currently in a graduate program.Candidates with at least 1 year research experience in a graduate program are preferred.

Personal skills

The successful candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable in a flexible & agile R&D environment.The successful candidate should be familiar with standard software analytics packages (Matlab, Python, etc.) and be willing to learn additional packages in the course of the internship.

Context of the position

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
