Becoming a world class Customer Support Engineer
This position is a unique opportunity to be trained into becoming a world class Customer Support Engineer. In Taiwan you will be trained in our technologies, analytical and trouble shooting skills within the Customer Support Department. Simultaneously, you will have the opportunity to learn soft skills, for instance stakeholder management, stress resistance and influencing without power. All this will take place via on the job training, classroom settings, e-learning and personal coaching.
Working and living in Taiwan
In Taiwan you will join the local ASML team in order to strengthen their solving power as a 2nd Line Customer Support Engineer.
Immigrating to another country, adjusting to a new culture and taking on a new role is exciting and can also be challenging. ASML will support you in making this transition as smooth as possible. Our colleagues in Taiwan will also make sure that you will receive a soft landing to familiarize and adapt yourself to your new environment in and outside of the workplace.
Your main responsibilities:
• Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot ASML systems at the customer site;
• Perform repairs, retrofits and preventive maintenance on ASML systems at the customer site;
• Work together with the customer, ASML peers and staff management to assure timely and accurate support;
• Take part in projects that aim to improve our support and performance.
• Be involved in New Product Introductions and training of the customer;
• Add your unique perspective to continue building a long term partnership with our customer.
• You have a Master’s degree in Science and Engineering (e.g. Physics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Chemistry, AerospaceEngineering, Process technology or similar);
•You have eagerness and drive to develop yourself quickly both technically and personally;
•You are willing to settle in Taiwan and to commit to living there for a larger period of time;
•You are fluent in English and you minimally have basic Mandarin language skills.
