Job Mission

You as PLM Business Architect are part of multipleimprovement initiatives / projects, and will work together with internalcustomers to find the best way to serve the end2end business needs, based onbest practices and a the portfolio of chosen (IT) solutions.

The emphasis is on an effective engineering businessprocess supported by PLM / Configuration Management capabilities and makinguse of applications such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter® and SAP ERP. You’ll needto align the needs of functional stakeholders across the ASML organization(including but not limited to (design) engineers andIT).

Job Description

The scope of the PLM Business Architect is:

  • Analyze and improve PLM/CM end-to-end businessprocesses and framework from an Development & Engineering perspective(incl. handshakes towards production and service)
  • Be a spokesperson for the business, understanding thedemand and translating this into architecture / roadmap for realization anddeployment (taking into account the current IT landscape)
  • Support projects with High-Level directions as wellas more detailed solutions for implementation

Education

Bachelor or Masters degree in (mechanical) technical engineering or industrial engineering.

> 10 years of work experience in a High-Tech, low volume company.


Experience

  • Experience on product development as well as process/application improvement is a pre
  • Familiar with PLM and CMII end-to-end business processes
  • Solid Teamcenter application knowledge as well as integration with surrounding processes/applications
  • Experience in defining process and application architectures / roadmaps
  • Experience with aligning and working with IT
  • Familiar with Agile way of working

Context of the position

You’ll be reporting within Development and Engineering to the group lead of the Configuration Definition Improvement group (~20 projects leads, architect and process experts). You will guide/support projects towards their objectives, but do not have any direct report.
