Job Mission

Optical Cleaning Process Engineer for Optical Fabrication and Industrialization.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Job Description

  • Understand the working principles of various cleaning processes used in optical fabrication.
  • Understanding the functions of various cleaning powers by detergents, DI water, ultrasonic, etc.
  • Learn and understand surface cleanliness inspection methods and limitations.
  • Develop new surface cleanliness inspection processes for meeting new product requirements.
  • Design and conduct testing using coupons for process trouble shooting, process improvements or process requalification, develop proper fixtures for human safety, machine safety and part safety.
  • Understanding the hardware to be able to initiate problem resolution and communicating to vendor for support.
  • Writing work instructions and conducting Job Hazardous analysis with EHS engineer.
  • Collect and analyzing data for SPC reporting and use it for process improvement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required.Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Material Science degrees, preferred.Or equivalent experience.

Experience

  • Working experience in industrial production environment.
  • Cleanroom experience is a plus.
  • Understanding process functions based on the fundamental principles of chemistry, physics, thermodynamics and mechanics involved.
  • Possess strong ownership characteristics – demonstrated commitment to achieving results on time.
  • Good technical writing skills for work instructions and process procedures.
  • Data collections and analyzing for SPC and process improvements.
  • Be able to define a project scope and manage the execution of the project steps.
  • Good communication skills for presentations.
  • Good MS office skills for Word, Excel(Macro), Power Point, MS Project.
  • Good laboratory hands on skills for chemical handling such as acids and base, organic solvents.
  • Knowledge of MATLAB and LabView.
  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work.
  • Self-initiating training necessary to learn skills and use it for problem solving.
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information and documents.
  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
