The Development & Engineering Department in the ASML Veldhoven office is currently expanding and we are searching for a Senior Product Owner

Role and responsibilities

In the Scanner Application Interfacing group, part of the Machine Control department, we are working on multiple projects in TwinScan software domain of Factory Automation and Recipe Handling. Our main customers are the Optimizers- and Baseliner product from our applications business line.
Our Product Owners are the key figures between the internal ASML- and external customers and the development teams. They are considered to:
- Act as the business representative for the products
- Service their teams deliveries
- Contributing to and guarding the product vision
- Helping to create a strategy and setting up a product roadmap
- Managing the product backlog and guiding the teams, which entails, however is not limited to:
- Creating a thorough understanding of the requirements and the needs of the customers
- Balancing external business and internal ASML interests in priority setting
- Securing relevant stakeholders are managed and expectations are aligned
- Clearly expressing and prioritizing product backlog items to best achieve goals and delivering value
- Ensuring that the product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the development teams will work on next
- Guiding the development teams in understanding the items in the product backlog to a level that they are able to develop them
- Ensuring and reviewing the value of the work the development team delivers
- Taking accountability for all work done and contributed by the development teams

We are looking for a new Product Owner to:
- Take the ownership of multiple (medium size, and small) products: Image Optimizers (IMO) and Image Tuner. The engineers working on these products are in one single, co-located, cross functional team (combination of Factory Automation, Recipe Handling and Metro domain), part of an Agile Release Train (ART).
- In the (near) future the role might grow to support multiple teams (probably including farm out).
- To support the growth of SAFe/Agile maturity in the team and ART.
- Help in driving the ongoing SAFe journey within the SAI group (and MC department) in cooperation with related ASML programs, Business Lines etc.

Education and experience

Education
Preferably Engineering Graduates and Post Graduates Bsc, Msc and Phd’s in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Experience in products / applications within the semi-conductor industry
- Proven track record of Leadership / Managerial Skills
- Preferable prior experience as a formal Product Owner in an agile environment
- Pre is experience with software Development in a large Agile Delivery Organization
