In the Applications Algorithms group we are responsible for the development and implementation of the common algorithms that are then used by other teams to develop applications to optimize the production process of our customers. We are a group of experts on mathematics, algorithms, numerical methods and software engineering.

We are looking for a Product Owner who will ensure close alignment with all our stakeholders, own the backlog of work and set priorities and manage the teams roadmap and execution. Could this be your next job? Apply now!

Role and responsibilities

As Product Owner of the Algo group you ensure that your team provides other teams with the common domain specific algorithm design proposals and implementations.

You:
- Build an active relationship with your stakeholders
- Maintain the team’s backlog and set priorities based on a clear motivation
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next
- Ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed to develop and deliver them
- Ensure deliverables meet customer requirements by requesting demo’s, reviewing test plans and checking test case overview.
- Prepare and participate in and outside PI events to actively align with your stakeholders
- Actively participate in the relevant Agile/scrum rituals
- Pro-actively look for potential improvements and prepare them for evaluation by the team
- Manage the team’s roadmap; align with stakeholders, ensure execution
- Closely work with the architects, scrum master and manager to drive the roadmap and continuous improvements.

Education and experience

Education
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or software engineering.

Experience
- You have experience with feasibility / research and software development engineering, preferably in a large development organization
- You have demonstrated leadership skills in an earlier role as Team Lead, Scrum Master or Product Owner.
- You have worked in an Agile/SAFe organization for several years
- You have a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
- You have the ambition to further develop yourself as a PO
- Preferably you have relevant experience or domain knowledge in semi-conductor industry
