Introduction to the job

Several projects and initiatives have been started or need to be started to support the ASML Information Protection strategy. Major objectives are to implement new processes, methods & capabilities to protect ASMLs intellectual property as well as other sensitive information complying to different regulations or security requirements defined by customers & suppliers.

Role and responsibilities

- Design & Define new processes, methods or solutions to improve ASMLs information protection capabilities, such as information classification, labeling, information rights management & sensitive file detection.
- Build up and run information protection services to the different sectors/business units within ASML
- Support in Information Security requirements in the implementation of solutions and the Delivery of the environments (Dev/Test/QA/Prod) to the business users
- Migration of information towards the newly selected storage locations and thereby implementing the Information Storage Standard for all sectors
- Deployment of the new Security processes for Procedures into the respective organizations (Sectors & Sites)

Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of above mentioned services regarding security design, processes, information classification & rights management to support the Need-to-know based access and distribution of information within whole ASML.

The Security Consultant shall fulfill the following tasks:

- Maintain and operate existing information protection controls and services.
- Security requirements analysis
- Process, solution & security architecture design as well as the ability to involve the different sectors to collaborate and implement the new security controls.
- Definition and implementation of Information Governance topics
- Drive the discussion with the Business to reflect their security risks related needs following industry best practices.
- Be part of the Agile Team, to take on the security related activities, if necessary.

Education and experience

- Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- MS Security Solution related Certificates are a bonus

The candidate should have at least 4 yrs experience in Information Security. Knowledge of Information Protection controls like information classification, labelling, information rights management is a must. Knowledge in Microsoft based security solutions including Azure Information Protection, IRM as well as O365 Security would be very beneficial.
