Role and responsibilities
The DE (Development & Engineering) P&I (Performance & Integration) System Integration department is responsible for the integration, verification and release of system configurations such that these can be manufactured and installed within the required quality and can also be maintained in the field. We supportBusiness Line, Manufacturing and Customer service to achieve customer satisfaction.
In the position of System Availability Integrator you will be part of the team that is responsible for overall system reliability and diagnostic performance of a product or product family (this position will be within the NXE domain). What are the errors still left in the system and how fast can we find the actual root causes? Both aspects contribute to the total uptime of the system. In this role you will prioritize the reliability and diagnostic performancesystem issues, found during the execution of pre-defined reliability test cases or standard test work on our proto systems. You will align with the D&E projects on a solution direction and timing. Make it your mission to get the (structural) issues with the highest impact solved first.
As the System Availability Integrator you are responsible for maintaining an overview of the found system reliability and diagnostic performance issues, including their impact. And take a leading role in the alignment of getting these issues solved within the available D&E solution capacity. Focusing on the highest impacted issues first, but also making sure low hanging fruit is included.
Main activities and responsibilities:
- Collect the reliability and diagnostics issues which occur during dedicated reliability runs or standard test work.
- Have an opinion about the overall system reliability and diagnostic performance. Where can we improve and which issues needs to be solved in order to reach a higher system uptime?
- Take lead in the alignment of the issues vs the D&E solution capacity.
- Report and advise towards the Availability and Diagnostic Project but also to the System Integration team on which issues needs to be fixed first in order to improve the system uptime the best way (fastest / cheapest).
Education and experience
Technical education on MSc. Level in the direction of Physics, Optics, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge on system level of ASML machine
- Analytically strong, enthusiastic, flexible, assertive, proactive, structured
- Good communication and networking skills
- Ability to interface and cooperate with different people on different organizational levels
