Role and responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to drive product solutions and design decisions within ASMLs EUV scanner portfolio to enable our customers imaging roadmap.
Yourresponsibilities and activities include:
- Reviewing and concluding on detailed data in informal settings. Complemented by more formal activities like meetings, visits, reviews, etcetera.
- Work and interact with marketing, customer support and development and engineering.
- The opportunity to interact and to visit customers.
- Mentor engineers both on the content and way of working. Guide these teams to success.
- Provide overview of the entire system and its context to the product creation team and its stakeholders to facilitate making sensible specification and design decisions.
- Balance between functional requirements and architectural constraints for scanner design (mechanical, thermal, electrical, optical, and software).
- Ensure integrity of the system specification and design over time by looking at decisions from a broader perspective.
- Contribute to the imaging technology roadmap.
Education and experience
Education
MSc or PhD in Physics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Optics, or any other related engineering background.
Experience from 6 years in one or more fields below:
- Applied Optics
- Semiconductor industry and the patterning of semiconductors
- Complex system design or machine building.
