Are you our EHS (Environment Health & Safety) expert with proven track record on managing change in a highly diverse world wide organization? Can you challenge and support technical experts in EHS within ASML? Then you are the one we are looking for to afforce our team. The mission for this role is simple: create structured processes and manage projects that consolidate the diverse EHS knowledge that your colleagues bring into the team. With your vision of how knowledge can be structuralized, you help to ensure that everyone at ASML understands and complies with our defined EHS processes and standards. This mission may sound simple, but to achieve it, you will need leadership skills and creativity, because this is what ASML is all about: a world leader in one of the world’s fast-moving industries, a place where materials, work-practices and attitudes change at breath-taking speed. To help you achieve this mission, you will have to engage with our local EHS Specialists to ensure that structure in EHS processes is achieved according to your vision.

Role and responsibilities

In this position you will report to the Manufacturing Director Quality & Safety. We are best in class in our branche of business and we also strive to become top of our class in safety maturity. To reach this goal, you will be part of a team which build the processes, systems and tools to ensure that ASML factories across the world remain EHS-compliant in a fast-changing environment. Therefore also becoming an even safer place to work. As member of a team of EHS professionals you will focus on cooperating with your world-wide colleagues to ensure that projects result in success. This will appeal to your expertise in project and change management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder management across business;
  • Ownership of the EHS incident management process;
  • Support EHS processes embedding in EHS Information Management System;
  • Conduct monthly and annual EHS performance management reviews with stakeholders;
  • Drive improvement projects.

Education and experience

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in technical or environmental studies, combined with further specialization in an EHS related field.
To succeed in this position we are looking for specialists that bring at least 10 years of relevant experience with EHS program management preferably in a low-volume, high-tech environment.

  • Proven project management track record;
  • Ability to stay focused on long-term goals in a demanding, fast-moving environment;
  • Good communicator and team player, culturally sensitive;
  • Good verbal and written English language skills.
