Introduction to the job

Are you the building automation expert who is able to help us realize ASML’s ambitious building automation roadmap? ASML has the ambition to show its high-tech background in its office spaces, factories and digital working environment by making its campuses smart. Furthermore we are engaging in a big initiative to bring our asset management and maintenance processes to the next maturity level. To realize this ambition we are looking for a building automation specialist, who is able to connect our smart building solutions to end users to interact with the building via their personal mobile devices and to do the same for all the equipment in our state-of-the-art cleanrooms.

Role and responsibilities

As Business Process Analyst you act as a first IT contact (subject matter expert) for suppliers, business process owners and other stake holders in the ASML organization. You will be responsible for all activities related to building automation projects and non-standard changes. You are involved in various projects and have end-to-end responsibility to realize solution improvements in our building automation landscape. The main initiatives that you will engage in are related to our Smart Campus projects, the further maturing and standardization of our SCADA environments for the clean rooms and in taking the next maturity step in our asset management and maintenance processes for all of our buildings and equipment.

You can translate business requirements into the right functional IT specifications and IT solution direction. This means you create the functional solution design and contribute to the architectural roadmap as well as play a key role in realizing the solutions you have designed. Your activities range from system design and configuration to testing and training key-users together with our many IT suppliers.

Education and experience

At least Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or business administration.

Are you the building automation consultant with:
- At least 7 years’ experience as Business Process Analyst, Functional Consultant or similar positions;
- Detailed hands-on knowledge on various building automation systems with primary focus on smart building solutions;
- Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital twin, energy and utility management and various smart solutions;
- Experience in high tech manufacturing environments as well as office / lab environments;
- Experience using big data & analytics in the building automation domain.

- Ability to work in large project teams as well as independently on smaller projects / changes.

The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are mission-critical for almost all ASML’s internal and external activities.

A sub-department within the IT organization is the IT Competence Center Sales & Operations.This Competence Center is responsible for providing the right IT systems for the core business processes of Operations (Sales, Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Planning, Sourcing, and Facility Management). Customers of this department are internal customers, whose goal is to provide world class systems and services for all major chip makers around the world, and who therefore need the best tools available.
