Role and responsibilities

As a Lead Test Architect you will steer the test roadmap for the department and drive its execution. In addition you will be responsible for building the department test competence. This means you will not only be facing technical challenges, but also people and knowledge management.

You will work closely with the ASML Test Competence, Function Test Architects and Group Leaders on the definition and execution of the test strategy for our EUV Source and TwinScan software.

Additionally as a Lead Test Architect you’re expected to investigate and propose solutions that might help us
to further increase the quality of our products.

In your role you will be:
• Responsible for creating, maintaining and driving the test roadmap for the department.
• Accountable for the implementation of the department test roadmap in the various functional clusters making up the department.
• Responsible for identifying and prioritizing gaps in test coverage together with the Test Architects.
• Accountable for reporting and acting on the department test metrics.
• Responsible for building and spreading test competence and methodologies in the department.
• Representing the Embedded Software EUV department in ASML-wide test initiatives.
• Aiding and coaching the Test Architects within the department, with hands-on help if needed.

Education and experience

Education
MSc, PDEng or PhD in computer science , Informatics, Embedded Systems or equivalent.

Experience
• You have a broad knowledge of test methodologies and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and implementing test approaches for complex in-product software systems (e.g. TMap/ISTQB, Test Process Improvement, and Test Maturity Model).
• You have industry experience with C and/or C++, Linux, software testing and test automation. Affinity with Python and/or VxWorks is an advantage.
• ASML Experience is a big bonus.
