Are you interested in the challenges of improving the availability of complex and advanced EUV lithography equipment? If so, the position of availability MDO source could be the perfect path to increase your knowledge in multiple engineering disciplines.

Role and responsibilities

The Availability Engineering group (IC06) looks for solutions to maximize uptime of our systems for our customers. Within our existing fleet of machines at customers as for new products you will be focusing on :

  • Building an stable source team which will identify, initiate and drive design + process improvements in cooperation with our stakeholders in Veldhoven en San Diego.
  • Drive analysis of source availability with focus on root cause and impact (MTBI + MTTR)
  • Improve the quality of feedback from the field together with our Customer Support department towards development and programs.
  • Act as liaison between SD source team and Veldhoven projects.
  • Enabling the source team to support X-product design and availability predictions.

Your main interface will be the availability project leads for IB&S, 3800 and EXE program in Veldhoven and the source project leads in San Diego.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in a technical area, such as Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Optics/Physics.
  • 5 years’ experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment.
  • Knowledge of EUCV source and/or Co2 is a big plus.
  • Proven track record with Service activities and specifically diagnostics and calibrations.
  • Broad scope (software, mechanics, electronics, IT infrastructure, Customer Support).
  • Familiar with Design and service processes.
  • Knowledge about data structure and modeling.
  • Used to work in time driven project environments.
