This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires concurrent engineering by all disciplines. The PLM PL fulfills this need by bridging the gap between new product development and planning & logistics volume operations at the cluster/project level. As Project Lead, you determine and manage the time to market, supply chain management specifications at optimal costs whilst staying agile to business opportunities. You're responsible to define, secure and monitor the supply chain deliverables in the Product Generation Process (new builds, installs, upgrades and service products) informally reporting into the ASML cross-sector Project Cluster Team. This includes the introduction, industrialization and phase-out strategies of new products as well as engineering sustaining activities on existing products. As key representative of the SCM department in the project cluster team you are accountable for and first point of contact for supply chain operations aspects and related issues. To achieve this, you will be using your unique mix of technical, creative and interpersonal skills and you’ll guide and coordinate the project leads to meet program deliverables and deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage supply chain introduction of new products from technical feasibility towards ramp and release-for-volume.
  • Plan & mobilize resources of the planning & logistics project team to fulfill the plans.
  • Develop and align supply and demand forecasts to support program deliverables.
  • Prepare and present risk material purchase proposals (KD-E).
  • Manage material availability balanced against customer service levels, inventory, quality, costs and risks: Identify bottle necks, prepare decisions and take actions towards engineering, suppliers, factories as well as the field to manage the critical path both for time-to-market and ramp.
  • Represent Planning & Logistics departments in the cross-sector Cluster Team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering or Logistics.
  • 5 to 10 years work experience, of which 2 to 5 yrs experience in new product introductions preferably in high-tech, low-volume environments.
