A Vacuum Workcenter Engineer tests and qualifies EUV systems on safety, delivers support on leak testing and performs Residual Gas Analysis (RGA) qualification.
Job Mission
As a Vacuum Work Center Team you support the EUV factory on requests for H2 activities on both the NXE and EXE systems. Also you solve problems on request for leak testing and Residual Gas Analysis (RGA) qualification.
Job Description
The Vacuum Work Center acts on requests and supports during problem solving within the EF Cleanroom.The activities that you will perform are:
• H2 activities, e.g. H2 releases;
• RGA analysis of components;
• Machine Residual Gas Analyses (MRGA) and qualifications of (sub-)modules;
• Problem solving on leak testing
• Point out recurring problems during analysis in product operation and initiate the issue resolution process;
• Transfer knowledge and train colleagues on existing and newly introduced products;
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities with technical expertise.
• Report the disturbances and technical issues in an adequate way (English language).
• Interact with highly-driven technical experts (basic understanding of our technology needed)
Education
For the role of Vacuum Workcenter Engineer we are either looking for an experienced employee (+4yr) with a vocational degree (mbo) or a starter with a bachelor degree (hbo). We prefer a candidate with a degree in mechatronics, electronics or physics.
Experience
The bullets underneath are a pre but can also be learned on the job:
• Familiarity with vacuum systems;
• Experience or proven affinity with troubleshooting;
• Preferable relevant work experience in safety and/or technical environment;
• Speak, read and write in Dutch language;

The complete production process of these most advanced machines (NXE and EXE systems) takes place within the EUV Factory Veldhoven. New products and corresponding processes from D&E are transferred into volume-production (including the system installation and qualification process at customer location), and is continuously optimized.Other information
