ASML/HMI brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography & metrology machines, as well as computational lithography & control software products. HMI metrology design engineer is responsible for application development by high resolution e-beam systems, providing holistic control solution for advanced nodes in semi-conductor industries.
“This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with applicants who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.”
Role and responsibilities
Perform feasibility studies to access performance of system functionalities, defining metrology product specification.
Be responsible for functional design and performance evaluation, collaborating with different sectors.
Generate and maintain script tooling for proof of concept on product development, enabling efficient performance evaluation and trouble-shooting.
Engage with key customers during product feasibility studies, in charge of product introduction and early product evaluation.
Bring customer engagement learning back to product development, driving solution for performance improvement.
10-20% international travel is required.
Education and experience
Master and above in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical engineering, Material Science or Chemical Engineering.
