Introduction to the job

Do you take the lead in getting new products introduced in the Twinscan Factory and like to drive the Cycle Time and Labor Hour targets towards target? Do you see the big picture without missing the important details and are you capable to execute complex projects? Then we want to talk to you.

Role and responsibilities

The TF PM is the manufacturing representative in the cross-sector Product Team and guards the manufacturability aspects of the new product introduction. In the role he/she will work closely with all the sectors and the various departments within the Twinscan Factory.
The TF PM steers a team of Project Leaders and his/her responsibility is to:
- Provide manufacturing requirements for a new product (Manufacturing Requirement Specification) andensure these are incorporated in the design.
- Deliver the Manufacturing deliverables in the Product Generation Process toward the Product Team
- Prepare the Twinscan Factory infrastructure (cabin layout, workcenter layout)
- Define and agree on ramp up capabilities and cycle time learning curves
- Execution process FMEA’s
- Define the training plan
- Organize the pilot production in cooperation with Product Team and supporting departments
- Ensure on-time delivery and quality of the required sequence, tools, parts, procedures etc.. to manufacture the system
- Report towards the Product Team and TF Staff on product performance, design issues and actual performance on cycle time, labor hours and cost
- Drive the issue resolution process to reach cycle time, labor hour and cost targets
- Organize review of the “Key Decisions” within the Twinscan Factory
- Organize Release for LAB/FABand Volume transfers within the Twinscan Factory

Education and experience

- Master’s degree (or Bachelor + relevant experience)

- Extensive project leadership or manufacturing management experience (3-5 years) in a high-tech equipment industry.
- In-depth working experience of manufacturing processes and manufacturing principles like Lean Manufacturing,
- Know-how of scanner/steppers on system and module level
- Familiar with Product development and SCRUM/Agile processes
