The main purpose of the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) – BI & Analytics Domain Manager is to enable up-to-date and accurate BI solutions and management information that supports the CRE processes. In this role, you are part of the new global Data Management Team of CRE that manages all the data in the field of asset maintenance, real estate planning, project management, workplace management and facilities management. You are responsible for CRE to rely upon high quality dashboards that give insights in buildings, production facilities/utilities and support other processes like maintenance, services, space planning, real estate management, workplace management and reporting and dashboards.
Role and responsibilities
Together with your colleagues in the Data Management Team (Data Domain Manager, Data Subject Matter Expert, Performance & Reporting Specialist) and the Hybrid development team you are responsible for the BI & Reporting landscape of the CRE data, applications, tools, technologies, standards and systems. You are the senior expert in your field and know how to develop a mature BI & Analytics team including the design and implementation of a BI strategy. This includes steering of the Business Intelligence team including Dev Ops and execution of the role of Product Owner. In this role, you report to the Data Domain Manager, who is the overall manager of the Data Management team.
Your mission is to determine and define the type of (steering)information that is relevant to manage the CRE business processes and translate this to a reporting structure and information (content). You give professional advice by connecting business objectives with available information and data bases and know how to generate valuable business analysis and reports. You like to manage an extensive (global) field of stakeholders with different information needs and know how to consolidate information from various sources into structured and logic global reports for (senior) management and a variety of departments within CRE.
In this role you:
-Develop and implement the global CRE KPI/management information structure, dashboards, tooling and templates.
-Develop and implement the Global BI Strategy.
-Have a leading role to standardize reporting worldwide.
-Are responsible for the roadmap for reporting and analytics in the CRE domain. You actively support and give (strategic) advice to CRE management and teams how reporting and analytics support CRE business processes.
-Are responsible to design, build, maintain and manage the reporting and performance management tools.
-Are responsible to provide all necessary reports and analytics that support the business objectives and management processes of CRE by investigating the demand for BI within CRE.
-Give advice how to improve and innovate the information management processes.
-You take decisions (or drive decision-making) about applications, systems and formats for reporting, analytics and performance management processes for CRE worldwide.
-Optimize the data used in reports together with the Data Subject Matter Experts and Data Quality Experts.
-Are the Product Owner for CRE and together with the Chief Product Owner(s) manage the program backlog, vision and priorities for the next PI and refine and prepare the Team Backlog.
-You manage the process of user requirements and development of the use cases (or coach others to develop the use cases).
-Develop the BI & analytics domain together with your colleagues; you generate ideas how to use data to improve and innovate processes, such as SMART, AI, machine learning and predictive maintenance
Education and experience
Bachelor or master degree in information technology, data management or in relevant related discipline.
The BI & Analytics Domain Manager preferably has knowledge or is trained in the following expertise areas. Yet these are considered as a plus.
-Experienced/knowledgeable in (master) data managementand/or Excel/Access and/or SAP applications.
-Experienced/knowledgeable in Business Intelligence Expertise.
-Experienced/knowledgeable in Master Data, Materialrelated master data, Asset master data & BoM data.
-Experienced/knowledgeable in the DAMA framework.
-Experienced/knowledgeable in the field of Data Science.
-Experienced/knowledgeable in the field of DataIntegration & Data Architecture.
The role of CRE BI & Analytics Domain Manager is new within CRE. We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic to become part of a new team and eager to contribute to building a BI Framework from the start. Additionally, passion for technical environments, smart solutions and maintenance (asset management) is a plus.
