ASML’s Risk & Business Assurance (RBA) department provides state-of-art expertise, insights and assurance which enables ASML to achieve its objectives, while managing business risks in a responsible way. Risk & Business Assurance is supporting ASML in the area of Corporate Risk Management, Internal control, Compliance, Security and Internal Audit. In order to better service RBA’s internal customers, we are transforming our operating model from individual expertise teams to a multi-disciplinary team setup. As part of the transformation, an RBA Office is created as supporting center of excellence.

As Business Support Officer, you are pivotal for the success, effectiveness and optimization of RBA’s project and portfolio management, overarching processes and RBA means & methods.

The Business Support Officer’s mission is to support the RBA experts in their deliverables and way of working and to facilitate the achievement of the RBA priorities

Job Description

As Business Support Officer your key responsibilities are:

- Set up and drive a sustainable, optimized and centralized project & portfolio management for RBA’s activities:
- Documentation of the project and portfolio management methods;
- Have oversight on RBA’s project portfolio and deliver periodic reporting on status and progress.
- Document, maintain and improve RBA’s overarching processes and means & methods:
- RBA taxonomy, policies, standards and frameworks.
- Drive and facilitate RBA’s key planning and reporting deliverables:
- Drive RBA’s quarterly reporting and annual planning cycle;
- RBA’s integrated (performance) dashboards and overarching reports.
- Maintain and improve RBA’s SharePoint where the key deliverables are explained towards the ASML organization.

Education and experience

Educational level
Master 5+ yrs of experience or Bachelor7+ years of experience in the area of (management) consultancy and/or project- & portfolio management.

- 3+years of experience as Business Support Officer or Project Leader in a dynamic and innovative working environment;
- Project management consulting and coaching experience with sound knowledge of project management and/or agile concepts;
- Knowledge in the area of risk management, internal control, internal audit or security is preferred;
- Service Now and Microsoft Project Online experience is preferred.

Context of the position
The Business Support Officer reports to the Head of RBA Office. As RBA is in a transformation program you are expected to be able to operate in a changing, dynamic business environment.
