Are you interested in driving the deliverables of a team responsible for the optical performance of one of the
most advanced lithographic scanners? We are looking for a Project Leader (PL) that takes the challenge to
take end-to-end ownership for the development of optical projection solutions in the EUV scanners.
You will be part of the EUV projection group responsible to transfer and de-magnify the reticle image onto
the wafer in the EUV scanners by means of advanced optical manipulations and corrections.

Role and responsibilities

Job mission
As PL in the EUV Projection group you will be leading a multi-disciplinary project responsible for projection
deliverables in various products and programs. The PL sets the direction and priorities of deliverables,
creates and maintains the plans of the deliverables and balances between business context, technical
excellence and effort. He is the linking pin between the business context and the execution.
Skillset: Team player, understanding business context, ownership, minimal viable product thinking, long term
planning, can do mentality, decision making.
Job Description
- Takes end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
- Able to balance, prioritize and manage the triple constraint (timing, budget and scope) in a
transparent way in line with the business aspects.
- Manage the deliverables and risks in a multi-disciplinary context with teams working across various
SAFe trains and competences, including but not limited to optics, mechatronics, metrology,
thermal, dynamic, electrical, mechanical, industrialization.
- Regularly communicates with and informs the relevant stakeholders including the program
management, ASML factory, customers and suppliers.
- Build and maintain a close relationship with the major supplier, being Zeiss SMT.
- Secures the quality of the deliverables.

Education and experience

Education
MSc or PhD in engineering or physics, preferably with knowledge of optical systems.
Experience
Experience (>5 years) with project management in a multidisciplinary environment related to design and
integration of complex systems is needed. A background in mechatronics and/or optics is a pre.

Context of the position
Within ASML, the Sector Development and Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the planning, development,
and delivery of integrated solutions that meet business requirements. This responsibility also includes the
specification of trade-offs across sectors.
The department DE EUV Optical Column is responsible for delivery of the projection, illumination, dose
control, and EUV light collection functions for the EUV machines. The department develops technical
solutions, means and methods and competences to ensure these deliveries in all the different product
phases.
The holder of this position is reporting to the ED EUV DE OC Projection Group Leader
