Role and responsibilities

In the position of Group Team Leader, you and your team are key contributors to the development of state of the art power electronic designs for all ASML’s lithographic products. You are driving the development from roadmap to system integration through multidisciplinary project teams.

As part of the staff of the Power & High Voltage Electronics group, you will manage a team with different competencies, responsible for specifying, designing, engineering and integrating Power Electronics modules in our products. You are responsible for supporting the technology choices and roadmap, the specification, design, integration and qualification of electronic systems within the boundaries imposed by process and planning. You pro-actively drive the development work in your team and participate in reviewing designs. But above all, you will use your leadership and teamwork skills to solve problems and optimize team performance.

  • Manage resources (15 -25 people) in the group, working with team-members who take operational responsibility within projects under your supervision
  • Manage the delivery of designs in your group that meet the requirements of the ASML development programs. Review technical solutions proposed, technical product documentation produced by the group and coaching of group members
  • Define and implement the competence, technical and resource roadmap for your group
  • Continuous focus on efficiency of the group. Based on this, structural improvements need to be defined and implemented when necessary
  • Affinity with managing integral business processes in fast growing and dynamic business environments
  • Organize effective teamwork and communication through meetings and motivate your team members. Regular 1:1 routines with team members
  • Take responsibility for high quality employee targets, have MYR’s, gather information for appraisals & execute EYR’s
  • Monitor personal planning, identify bottlenecks, discuss larger/long-term picture and impact of scope/priority changes.
  • Focus on driving the team on proper execution to achieve high quality deliverables

Education and experience

  • Master degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience within electronics development, integrating and testing complex multi disciplinary products
  • Experience with being a technical lead for other team members
  • Experience with working in multidisciplinary design teams to establish agreement on specifications
  • Broad technical knowledge of electronics with basic knowledge of physics, mechanics, mechatronics and software

Within the sector D&E the cluster Electronic Development (EDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions and modules within these products.
The Group Team Leader reports to the Group Manager Power and High Voltage Electronics.
