Role and responsibilities

As member of the Supplier Network Management (SNM) team, the MRB Project Leader drives global suppliers in material quality and material availability to serve ASML internal customer’s need. Main interface is, but not limited to, global suppliers, global & local quality departments, local manufacturing site, global supplier account teams, Development &Engineering, etc.

As an MRB Project Leader you are the main interface between ASML local factory and our global suppliers or global supplier account team regarding Supplier Parts Quality. Additionally, person takes Supplier Quality Engineering responsibilities of selected accounts.
Supplier Parts Quality
* Participate in alignment of Material Review Board (MRB)/ CQN (Customer Quality Notification)/ DOA (Dead on Arrival) across ASML WW internal stakeholders and communication to global suppliers
* Manage suppliers towards root cause analysis on the defect materials and drive for structural solutions to reach zero repeat and to minimize production interruption
* Report out to the senior management during monthly reviews of supplier’s performance
Supplier Quality Engineering
* Manage deliverables that secure parts quality from suppliers during new product introduction (NPI) in the ASML product generation process.Early supplier involvement in the D&E project to secure that technology expertise of ASML and supplier are merged in the best way.
* Ensure that not only parts quality, however, also manufacturability and serviceability aspects are covered in the design phase.
* Responsible for the entire Quality and Technical process performance for suppliers, including operational interface on deviations from specifications.Monitor, review and drive supplier quality performance from incidents to structural improvement.
* Contribute to supplier development (e.g. implementing SPC, lean, FMEA, operational excellence at suppliers). Optimize manufacturing processes at suppliers by improving quality, testing and qualification infrastructure.Drive yield and process improvements at suppliers.

Education and experience

MSc degree in mechanics and/or electrical engineering, (industrial) engineering or Business Administration.

* 3~5+ years relevant work experience
* Experience with supply chain processes in production environment (e.g. supply chain improvements, supplier management, customer service, planning)
* Experience in supplier management
* Experience in project management(Lean 6S experience, Black Belt certification preferred)
* Experience in high tech, low volume industry is preferred
