Would you enjoy working on supply chain area and managing stakeholders on daily basis? Do you have an
operational attitude and can you cope with pressure of supply assurance of critical parts? Then we have an excellent
opportunity for you to grow in the ASML Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) Department, developing both
your Supply Chain Management-, communication- and entrepreneurial skills.

Role and responsibilities

Manage incoming demand from the business line/locals and acts as supply responsible within the Field Material
Availability department (FMA) to ensure end-to-end material availability.

- You are responsible for global material availability of a certain material package and to manage this in an
effective and efficient way. This includes correct implementation of phase-in & phase-out related materials.
- You work together in a team within the Field Material Availability department to meet the defined Operational
targets by following up on forward- and reverse flow activities for maximizing output at suppliers. You will
analyze material availability situations and initiate escalations if needed
- You will act as interface and resolve material availability issues with production planning in the worldwide
factories, business lines, OSM, LSM, Quality team, PLM, 3PL and internal customers.
- You initiate and deploy cross departmental improvements in close cooperation with multiple stakeholders,
preferably by making use of Lean methodologies.
- You fulfill a senior role in the team and further improve our standards and way of working. You inspire and
support others in their improvements and personal development.

Education and experience

- BSc or MSc in business administration, supply chain or industrial engineering
- 4 – 7 years relevant experience in a large international company (industry or consultancy), ideally Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations or Procurement.
- Good understanding of supply chain management processes with focus on planning
- Experience with SAP and MS Office is a strong pre.
- Capable of resolving operational issues with various stakeholders (e.g. production planning) independently
- Ability to lead projects and to train (junior) coordinators

Context of the position
The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs)
with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with
downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such
challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through
differentiated and affordable supply chain services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing
system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly
educated workforce drives planning and execution of the supply chain aspects of commercial upgrades, field change
orders, machine shipments and transfers
