Does a high-tech environment and driving strategic supplier development energize you? Within our Sourcing & Supply Chain organization we would like to welcome an enthusiastic Sourcing lead for IT.
The Sourcing Lead role is a challenging procurement position reflecting the dynamics of ASML with responsibility to drive and execute supplier development as well as the commercial relationships with key suppliers. In this role you will have frequent exposure to Senior Management. The Sourcing Lead IT reports into the Director IT procurement.
The IT procurement team is responsible for sourcing, managing supplier relationships and contracting across all IT domains globally. The team consists of procurement professionals with a can-do mentality and capable of building bridges with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
The Sourcing Lead IT is responsible for further strengthening and development of ASML’s IT Procurement team and will operate across the supply market IT. In this role you unlock the potential of our supplier networks, deliver solutions that execute ASML’s business and IT strategy and optimize total cost of ownership, performance, and risk for ASML and our customers.
You assure the realization of strategic category plans and setup tactical and operational goals to improve supplier performance.
Role and responsibilities
The Sourcing Lead IT:
-Builds and maintains long term relationships with (inter)national suppliers
-Drives and executes global sourcing strategy
-Co-develops account and action plans with strategic IT suppliers
-Leads or participates in Supplier Account Teams and acts in Strategic Product Family Teams
-Interacts with internal stakeholders on all levels within the organization
-Manage day-to-day contact with strategic suppliers (including owning agenda of interactions) and track all communication for full transparency
-Prepare and oversee supplier negotiations including tactics, spend base analysis, script, dry-run and orchestrating stakeholders involved as well as all contract details
-Track and formalize (long-term) supplier performance by executing Supplier Profile reviews, identifying gaps, initiating improvement opportunities, developing mitigation measures and safeguard follow-up on the actions
-Head supplier review meetings for Supplier account team
The Sourcing lead role is a new role in IT procurement to further step-up the maturity of and drive supplier performance.
-Graduate degree in in a relevant area (e.g. Business Economics, Business Administration, Technology Management)
Education and experience
- Min 3-5 years of work experience ideally in strategic procurement in an Information Technology intensive industry
- Team player with proven ability to successfully manage complex multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong in driving performance improvements
- Preference to have experience in IT Sourcing (manage RFQ/RFP processes) and IT procurement strategy development
