Maximizing yield, manufacturing speed, efficiency and reliability are among the key parameters for customers in high-volume chip manufacturing. Business Line Applications (BL Apps) extends our holistic lithography solutions by developing products that work alongside our lithography systems to help them perform better and improve the patterning process.

BL Apps supports several steps of our customers’ manufacturing process, from R&D to mass production. The portfolio of products includes metrology, inspection, computational lithography, data analytics and control software to quickly and accurately measure, optimize and control overlay and imaging performance on silicon wafers and to improve the patterning process.
ASML’s BL Apps products are critical elements in the semiconductor manufacturing process.

Context
The System Test and Integration (STI) team is responsible for:
- The integration of software deliverables into a software package (release/patch)
- The testing those package at the system level

As System Test Engineer you will test the software packages at system level before software is released to ASML customers for beta test.Your mission is to provide the test team with tests so they can meet the test coverage requirements. Focusing on test automation you will deliver these results in an ever shorter period of time.

Role and responsibilities

As a System Test Engineer you are a member of the Applications System Test & Integration team.
This means we’re looking for somebody who will:

1.Creating/Maintaining system level test designs, Improving system level test coverage
When new feature are/will be delivered by the projects, the system level test team has to judge if a new system level test design has to be created for the delivered feature.

2.Creating/Maintaining/Extending/Improving system level test cases
The YS system is continuously evolving, our system level regression test cases need continuously attention.

3.Preparing/Executing/Analyzing Service Pack Alpha tests, Weekly Validation tests, Daily Validation tests
Executing all tasks needed to have the tests planned for the test phases finished in time and the issues reported in such way the developers can solve them.

4.Test automation
We are heading to more and more automated tests on devbenches/testbenches. In year 2022 the level of simulation will be extend to reach a higher code coverage in a simulated environment. Most of the test cases are created to run on a real YS proto system, these test cases have to be transferred to our test automation framework.

5.Test infrastructure
Our test infrastructure consists of proto systems/devbenches/testbenches and test PCs. These test PC have to run reliably and repeatedly our test. Keep these test PCs up to date and running on the ASML network

6.Hands-on experience with Python and PowerShell

7.Strive for continuous improvements, makes suggestions and encourage team members

Education and experience

Education:
A technical Bachelor degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.

Experience:
1. Minimum 3 years of experience with software testing
2. Minimum 2 years of experience with test automation tools
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in regression and progression system testing
4. Hands on experience with data analytics (Spotfire is a plus)
5. ISTQB certified is a big pre
