Role and responsibilities

You will contribute to the behavioral Security Awareness Program, embedding a security culture for over 28,000 staff globally to raise security awareness and reduce the security risks faced by our organization by ensuring all employees, staff and contractors know, understand, and follow our security requirements and behave in a secure manner. As a change agent, you support the global Knowledge Protection Program as well as Security Awareness activities within ASML Program management, by integrating behavior science, project management and change & communication management, so our employees act in a secure manner, reducing the most significant risks to ASML.

Analytics, Research & Reporting:
• Investigate key drivers of security behaviors mapped to our top 12 risk behaviors (e.g., secure sharing of information).
• Conduct periodic assessments surveys to evaluate behavior risk patterns and clusters.
• Work with various competence centers and Sector Risk managers (SRMs) to implement interventions that influence behaviors.
• Analyse various datasets and processes to recommend and drive fact-based decisions and policy design
• Periodically assess the effectiveness and adoption of tools and interventions.
• Proactively monitoring via data gathering and reporting via dashboards on the Program’s progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
• Maintain/design appropriate dashboards metrics and reports.
• Provide customized reports for key stakeholders to inform strategic and tactical decisions.

Training & Change Management Interventions:
• Execution of the Security Awareness Program including strategy, planning, organizing, training, and leading Program activities, working with experts in Security, IT, Data Privacy, and the internal comms team.
• Execution of our general security campaigns such as targeted phishing and awareness campaigns, including engagement & follow up.
• Moderation of Training Program activities and facilitating workshops. Supporting content creation, producing high quality and engaging content to communicate effectively and by translating complex technical information into easy-to-understand messages.
• Support the development and maintenance of the security campaign library to support internal stakeholder engagement materials (including presentations, infographics, videos, etc.).

Events & Communication:
• Effective communication of the Security Awareness Projects in line with the original goals of the Program.
• Liaising with ASML (Security) Managers, Knowledge Protection Champions, and other stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient communication for the Security Awareness Program delivery.
• Communicate about initiatives and activities to support the roll-out and improvement of the Program and deploy internal communication campaigns and activities.
• Participate in security themed programs and events like the Security Week, Escape Rooms, and other tailored engagements.

Education and experience

•Master level with 3 - 5 years of experience or Bachelor with 5 - 7 years of experience in applied behavior science and project management, in a complex multi-stakeholders' environment at other global multinational companies
•Have solid experience in behavior change models and change management with demonstrated ability to influence organizational change.
•Analytical, familiar with research methodologies, and have the ability to see trends and patterns in large datasets.
•Capable of providing data-driven and actionable recommendations to relevant stakeholders to influence behavior change and meet business needs.
•Involvement in large scale organizational culture initiatives.
•A background in any of the following disciplines will be an advantage: behavior science, psychology, change management, project management.

•Excellent command of the English language, with mastery in writing/content creation.
•Exceptional writing skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple messages.
•Training and moderating skills.
•Strong data analytical skills.
•Work experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Lists, etc.) and analytical applications such as PowerBI.

To achieve a successful global Awareness and Knowledge Protection Program the key issues which need to be addressed are:
•Managing stakeholders with different objectives and goals.
•Influencing without power.
•Driving a global program which does not directly contribute to the production of ASML machines.
•Ensure Knowledge Protection is on Management’s agenda when it is not a business priority but essential to the sustainability of ASML.
