Introduction to the job

At ASML, we manufacture the complex lithography machines used by chipmakers to produce microchips, leading the way to better and cheaper CPUs, GPUs and memory. Did you know that the latest smartphones like the iPhone 12, fastest laptops and smartest cars are all available thanks to our technology? To keep pace with market demands, our lithography machines are getting faster, and chip patterns are getting smaller.

Metrology software orchestrates the behavior of powerful mechatronic modules, so that together they achieve an extraordinary combination of speed and accuracy. It is the brain of ASML lithography systems. To ensure ever shrinking of the integrated circuits printed by ASML machines, we need people who can help us build next-generation metrology products.

Are you ready for your next challenge, looking for growth, want to be proud of team achievements and to be part of the progress? If YES, join ASML Metrology!

Role and responsibilities

We have organized our metrology resources into several departments. Each of these departments consists of two types of groups: functional and software. The former envisions and shapes metrology processes, while the latter designs and develops them in software. Although their focus is different, functional and software groups are cooperating in agile teams towards the best result.
The software metrology groups interact with each other on a project basis. These groups are composed of software engineers and architects who design, implement, test, and maintain software according to functional specifications.

As CI/CD Engineer metrology, you have the opportunity to :

  • Develop CI/CD principles as member of the cross-cluster system team
  • Review and modify CI/CD principles, iteratively
  • Maintain CI/CD tools/platforms (if applicable)
  • Develop and maintain pipeline configuration
  • Deploy CI/CD, testing and building in the cloud to development teams of the Metrology EUV Expose department
  • Improve the ASML software release process.
