Actively drive the process to provide Senior Management with timely and high quality historical and forward-looking information and recommendations. Pursue world-class results by improving corporate performance management processesand performing high quality analysis.

The Controller Financial Planning & Analysis takes a pro-active role in preparing and managing the long-term financial plan, corporate global annual budget cycle and monthly financial reviews, ensuring high quality planning information in terms of relevance, content, accuracy and timeliness.

You will play a key role in preparing Financial Planning & Analysis presentations and communicating with Senior Management, the Board of Management and the Executive Board.

Your remit is to identify, communicate and monitor financial risks and opportunities, and to translate those - in close cooperation with controllers – into executable actions with aim to improve business performance.

You will drive continuous improvement through initiating and executing changes together with subject matter experts involved in the processes which enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of financial planning information, tools, processes, analysis and organization.

Education and experience

To qualify for this challenging position, you need to have:

  • An academic degree in Business Economics (or similar), preferably in combination with a RC degree.
  • At least 5-7 years relevant working experience in a Business Control or FP&A environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex financial processes in an international environment.
  • Extensive experience with planning applications (SAP BPC and/or SAC is preferred) and related tools (SAP BW, BI reporting, etc).

Context of the position

The Business Insights & Control organization plays a key role in ASML’s overall Finance organization. The Controller Financial Planning & Analysis reports to one of 2 Managers Business Insights & Control Consolidated, and interacts with controllers of the business lines, sectors, group functions, regions across the globe, treasury, tax, project management and the decision support group.
This position has high visibility both within and outside the Finance department.
