Within the Customer Support (CS) Portfolio, Program and Project management office (CS PMO), we are looking for a junior project management enthusiast. Someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of project management in a challenging environment. Who likes collaboration and is a good conversationalist for more senior stakeholders.
Role and responsibilities
CS services the ASML machines and prepares for the introduction of new products and technology. The CS4CS segment within CS drives process improvements for this organization from a central position. Within the department are several organizational elements that execute the portfolio and deliver solutions to the teams all over the world.
Within this department the PMO team focusses on the processes and tools which are required to manage the three different levels in P3: Portfolio, Program and Project. In this role you will contribute to the creation of the process standards as well as securing adherence and delivery of high quality information to the portfolio board. Your main contribution will be:
·Working with senior PMO team members to develop and deploy solutions into the organization;
·Working with the business stakeholders to ensure adherence to the process and the quality of information required for important decisions;
·Provide new theoretical insights that benefit our future organization;
·Contribute to the team by co-developing the competences within the team and yourself.
Your day to day tasks involve participating in a PMO team that works on creating solutions and delivering it either to the process framework or our stakeholders directly. You deliver incremental solutions to existing ones and contribute to a stronger execution. You report to your team members and the PMO manager, while building your network and expertise to grow into a more senior role. The team is growing and your motivation to improve and lead by example is an important asset for you to make a good fit in the team.
Education and experience
- Master’s degree with a managerial field of study
- 2+ years of working experience in a complex environment with projects;
- Experienced with the application of Project management methodologies.
