Light sources are critical for ASML’s sensors. As a product owner you take charge of making the best design for our lithography machines.

Context of the position
Within Bottom (BM) Cluster Sensors department, the Light Sources group’s mission is to deliver high quality light for ASML sensors. The group is responsible for the physical and optical design of these light sources.
You will also have an indirect reporting line to your Epic Owner and Chief Product Owner.
Role and responsibilities
Our group secures performance, Total Cost of Ownership and reliability of ASML light sources ensuring that we deliver high quality light for ASML sensors.
Job Description
The goal is to develop a broadband high brightness light source for sensor applications.
Your functional scrum team consists of architects, optical designers and integrators of about 10-15 people.
Towards the team you act as voice of the customer and determine the minimal, viable product work packages in the teams backlog, their according priorities and acceptance criteria.
Towards the mono-disciplinary scrum teams in the train (scrum of scrum) like mechanical, electronical and software designers as well as the suppliers you secure that the work is aligned till the next program increment and up to 6 quarters ahead.
Towards your stakeholders you take accountability of the scrum teams deliverables, are end2end responsible by triple constraint management and reporting including long term plan.
Additional interfaces are with sectors like factory and customer support.
Together with the ScrumMaster you motivate and instill a scrum mindset in the team.
Education and experience
-Technical University with PhD or Master’s degree in physics or mechanical engineering
-Experienced product owner within a technical environment
-At least 3 years of relevant industrial experience.
-Strong affinity with sensor systems and / or optics
-SAFe certification as PO is a strong plus
