On time market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires an amazing product, effective processes, coordination of the product changes through the product life cycle and securing the efficiency and profitability of ASML’s business.
We are currently optimizing the process in which we manage changes to ASML’s products, by implementing end to end (cross functional) Performance Management and reports.

Role and responsibilities

As a Spotfire Report Developer you will:

  • Build, implement and maintain Spotfire reports to support and enhance the users in executing the current product change process in an optimal manner;
  • Align with customers and cross sector stakeholders based on your expertise and work with other experts with various backgrounds for effective and efficient delivery and improvements;
  • Use your soft skills to capture requirements and business demands and translate those into functional and technical requirements and solutions in the Performance Management team;
  • Work together with the team and be able to lead report developments;
  • Enable, support and challenge your CM department, including leadership, in their roles by e.g. coaching, providing feedback and actively sharing your experience.

As a Spotfire Report Developer your mission is:

  • To understand the business needsand drivers of product change process performance;
  • To create scalable and maintainablesolutions;
  • To manage the report solution fromrequirements up to delivery, including testing and documentation;
  • To participate in production rollout and version management
  • To participate in technologyupgrades and managing bug fixes
  • To act upon and provide input tothe report development roadmap;

Education and experience

  • BSc / MSc degree in technical discipline. For example Physics, Software development, Business Intelligence, Big Data, Econometrics.
  • Experience with the Business Intelligence (BI) tools, specifically TIBCO Spotfire Products
  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in analysis, design and development of medium to complex BI-applications.
  • Experience with interfacing various data sources; SQL queries, SAPA HANA views, Oracle databases
  • Knowledge in Data warehousing concepts and schemas
  • Functional exposure to Business domains like Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Support, and Utilities.
  • Knows how to build bridge between multiple reports from Excel, Tableau and BO to Spotfire.
  • Hands on experience with JavaScripts and/or Python scripts.
  • Proven ability to understand business problems and able to apply technology to formulate workable solutions with excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Experience with writing and maintaining functional and technical documentation

Other information

A new process of Configuration Management (Or Change Management) is being introduced in ASML by using the CM2 methodology and standards.

Changing the business: These new standards are delivered in different phases by a program (ONE). This ONE program continuously adds new functionality to be used by the standing organization in the Business. The program is in charge of delivering solution for: Process (the Change Process), Tool, Information and People improvements.

Running the business: To manage current execution of the process, the standing organization itself strives for continuous improvement by using Performance management methodology.

The CM Performance management team is in charge of the report development needed to support the change as well as current execution by providing report solutions and enabling the utilization of information in day to day activities.
