We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers – to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have multiple office locations around Taiwan, including our main office in Hsinchu.
The objective of the role is to ensure long term ASML business success through understanding of market & technology changes and ensuring current & future ASML products and strategy are aligned to meet Customer requirements.
Role and responsibilities
Strategy for specific region/account focus, includes aligning technical roadmap.
-Drive process to align customer roadmaps and node requirements (N+1 through N+3) with ASML solutions (target systems and configurations) for new and installed systems addressing both technical and cost performance.
-Develop Customer capacity scenarios and align market opportunity for new & installed systems
-Develop and align competition analysis and competitive positioning strategy
-Develop and align Customer specific value and ROI analysis
-Works closely together with business lines and account teams
In this position you will be driving influence across broader business processes. Your sphere of influence includes among others:
-Product positioning & value recognition at customers within specific region / account focus
-Roadmap alignment with Customers on existing and future products & patterning processes
-Support of corporate technical strategy in defining new areas of growth
Education and experience
MSc or PhD in Engineering or Physical Science or equivalent experience
-Extensive industry experience (semiconductor processing)
-Recognized industry professional with broad understanding
-Experience of Lithography systems and customer application strongly preferred.
-Marketing or commercial experience an advantage

-Senior Marketing Manager reports to the Regional Marketing Director and interfaces internally with Account Management, Product Business Lines, Technical strategy, Customer Support (Application Business Support), etc. and externally with the technical & management interfaces at the customer.
