Introduction to the job

At ASML, we manufacture the complex lithography machines used by chipmakers to produce microchips, leading the way to better and cheaper CPUs, GPUs and memory. Did you know that the latest smartphones like the iPhone 12, fastest laptops and smartest cars are all available thanks to our technology? To keep pace with market demands, our lithography machines are getting faster, and chip patterns are getting smaller.

Metrology software orchestrates the behavior of powerful mechatronic modules, so that together they achieve an extraordinary combination of speed and accuracy. It is the brain of ASML lithography systems. To ensure ever shrinking of the integrated circuits printed by ASML machines, we need people who can help us build next-generation metrology products.

Are you ready for your next challenge, looking for growth, want to be proud of team achievements and to be part of the progress? If YES, join ASML Metrology!

Role and responsibilities

The MX (Metrology and Machine Control) System Team is a specialized Agile Team that assists in building and supporting the Agile development environment, typically including development and maintenance of the toolchain that supports the Continuous Delivery Pipeline. The MX System Team also supports the rollout of the pipeline towards SW developers in functional groups.

As a member of the Metrology leveling group you will represent us in the MX System Team. In the MX system team we continuously automate all processes regarding testing, qualification and deliveries. In doing so, we combine strengths with other system teams to be most effective in our objective.

Within the MX system team you will be developing new tools for qualifying and delivering code, where you’ll be mainly programming in Python. You will collaborate with the Metrology leveling system team to align on problems, rollout strategy and priority of the work in the MX system team. Also, you will be in close contact with other system teams, align with stakeholders and other integrators, and provide support to feature teams when needed.
