Role and responsibilities

Deliver load level-, wave planning- & planning support to optimize the efficiency in the logistical process by monitoring and balancing the workload within the warehouse & logistics department.

  • Monitor the influx of outbound deliveries for the 5L Warehouse.
  • Identify and analyze work load peaks.
  • Ad-hoc steering on workload peaks- adivising on capacity re-scheduling
  • Adjust the timing of deliveries in such a way that the work load is leveled on an hourly base
  • Adjust the timing of deliveries based with respect to delivery priority.
  • Monitor if deliveries are created according to the ‘delivery creation rules’
  • Contact the internal customer (PP, CRL, MH) and/or the 3PL in case alignment is needed for load leveling.
  • Monitor and steer the ‘stock to factory’ process by managing the EWM Waves
  • Process delivery- and/or delivery line cancellation requests
  • Monitor and follow-up on exception codes and alerts generated by EWM
  • Provides first line operational support on planning processes, executing resolution of operational issues, in order to minimize impact on the operation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities or projects with planning and operational expertise. Points out recurring problems and participates to their solution.
  • Contact person Warehouse process for Operational Support.
  • Analyzing trends and driving improvements for workload levelling
  • Weekly report performance and volume measurements.

Education and experience

We are looking for a starter (or someone with a couple of years of experience) with a bachelor degree or higher in the field of logistics, warehousing or a technical environment.

Other information

The sector Shared Services Warehouse, Logistics & Tool operations is responsible for the storage, planning, assembling and shipment of ASML material, eg systems, upgrade packages etc. FLS directly supports these functions by solving incidents and consequentlyaddressing them to the rest of the organization to create a structural solution.

As a wave planner, you will work partially in the cleanroom. This is an unique and clean working environment, in which it is required to wear a cleanroom suit. Moreover, you will work in a 2-shift schedule (support rooster). A support shift schedule consists of an early shift one week and a late shift the next week. You have a 4 day workweek and are expected to work 1 weekend shift every 4 weeks. Please note; a certificate of conduct (‘Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag’/VOG) and following additional training and courses is required for this position.
