The missions of the role are to lead manufacturing department management team to enlarge operation performance & drive continuous improvement of work process by collaboration with operation excellence department. This role will report to incumbent head of manufacturing department & as his successor to relieve his bandwidth for more strategic planning delegation from Tainan factory head.
Role and responsibilities
As the senior manager level successor of manufacturing department head,the job contents of this position include follows:
Support manufacturing department head to lead &motivate management team including group & team level managers of MNFdepartment to share the vision & to meet organizational ambition.
Secure eBeam production output performance(Ex. KPIs) & continuously optimization of work process (Ex.efficiency, quality, cost, safety, time, compliance)to achieve Hoshin Kanri target for Tainanfactory long-term vision.
Strengthening manufacturing core competence bydeveloping MNF leaders’ leadership capability, engineers’ technicalknow-how, and project capability to drive continuous improvement. Makesure MNF a learning organization.
Manage to make best of the opex & capex towith the consensus of business line to meet business plan priorities andat the same time satisfy customer needs.
Support manufacturing department head to buildup a motivative organizational climate & a good place to work
Make sure the strong engagement &cross-sector / department collaboration.
Education and experience
Masteror bachelor of Industrial engineering/ EE/material management,business management or related fields
10to 15 years of leadership experiences in leading, motivating andinfluencing dynamic matrix teams and cross functions.
Operation management expertise in lean/6-sigma, quality operationsystem, problem solving, overall manufacturing cost management,budget/resourcing planning, people and organization development
10to 15 years semiconductor & equipment MFG experience includingproduction process, production quality control, new productionintroduction to high volume manufacturing would be necessary.
Globalsemiconductor or high-tech company experience with frequent engagementwith global stakeholders would be a plus.
Projectexperience to drive change & influence cross-sector / departmentstakeholders would be must
