Fast market introduction of ASML’s newest technologies requires state of the art teamwork by all disciplines. Smooth implementation of new changes, introduced on a daily basis, is crucial for the business. This requires an effective process, coordinating the change requests through the product life cycle and securing the efficiency and profitability of ASML’s business. Role and responsibilities

Define the overall design and architecture of the Virtual Prototypes to start with Virtual Integration processes based on available virtual verification models, processes and methods within Development & Engineering:

  • Initiate, define, embed and maintain the definition of Virtual Test and Virtual Config Release Management methods in our System integration processes and way of working
  • Define high level user needs and requirements for virtual tools and IT enablers
  • Build up the System Integration Virtual Integration configuration control and testing competence
  • Share Virtual System Integration expertise and be a technical leader in the field of Virtual Integration

The Virtual Integration architect will initiate and manage initial definition and future improvements on the Virtual Integration (VI) processes by:

  • Define the Virtual System Integration Strategy processes and roadmap
  • Act as a Virtual System Test and Configuration Architect on defining and guarding the first Virtual Proto configurations and support on getting in place or acting as the initial Virtual System Test Architect.
  • Document VI processes and methods to set the standard for ASML VI Competence within System Integration processes and department, aligned with the development and engineering organization
  • Develop and train VI processes and method expertise within the ASML organization

Education and experience

  • Academic or bachelor level in an engineering or technical study, preferably computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial (design) engineering or other comparable directions.
  • > 5 years’ experience in a high tech manufacturing environment with projects executed on enterprise level
  • Experience in bringing together Operational Technology and Information Technology
  • Familiar with Industry 4.0, Model Based System Engineering, IoT principles and technologies in the manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Virtual / Digital test and release processes
  • Experience in process definition and improvement in Virtual Prototyping / Digital Twin or field of expertise
  • Software / test architecture experience in high tech software environments
  • Experience with stakeholder management on all level

Other information

The EUV System Integration Department within the D&E organization integrates the changes on system level. Clarity on virtual release and integration processes will become more and more key. Creating the VI processes in System Integration is an enabler in creating upstream release processes we need to verify the growing amount of System Configurations at increasing time to market.
