The Process Window Detection & Control departments are responsible for the metrology and performance roadmaps for “on product” applications as part of the litho solutions roadmap. This job requires more than only excellent leadership skills, you also need to have the passion in coaching people to bring innovation and development to the next level together.

Role and responsibilities

Our mission is to develop, deliver, integrate and qualify metrology applications both after development (ADI) and after etch (AEI), being developed in close cooperation with semi-conductor customers in a multi-disciplinary setting.

We use advanced mathematics and physics to keep fueling the semiconductor and electronic revolution. We produce metrology tools and advanced software applications to analyze and optimize the performance of the customer production process. At the Business Line Applications, we develop Analytics & Control solutions that improve the accuracy of performance metrics (such as overlay, focus, critical dimension) as measured on the end product of a fab process (wafers with chip structures).

You will drive the development of new applications and translate the application specific needs to metrology hardware (Yieldstar) and software product requirements.

As Chief Product Owner you’re primarily responsible for managing the backlog and related priorities of the SAFe train to ensure that the deliverables are delivered according triple constraint committed pans to the program/ product teams. The CPO reports into the Department Manager for On product Performance and is core team member of the related System Function table, managing the SF portfolio over time. The CPO interacts with the PCM, who’s the primary interface to the Product Team(s), and - with the Product Owners (alias Project leaders) who run the teams within the SF scope for the different Functional Clusters.

The main task of the CPO are:

  • End2end responsible for scope of and priorities within the train, the deliverables related to the (system) function(s) covered by the train.
  • Owns, defines, prioritizes and maintains the worklist/backlog of the train
  • Ensures the ART Backlog is visible, maintained, prepared and documented
  • Manage priorities of escalations/interrupts coming during Program Increment (PI) execution via the ART backlog
  • Joins in solution management with CPO’s/ PCM’s of other trains to contribute to overall product performance
  • Manages triple constraint within the train, deliver input to SF table for TAP and Portfolio Management
  • Manages stakeholder of the Agile Release Train within D&E, Solution Owners, Project Cluster Managers (PCM), and (System) Function Owners
  • Ensures the Product Owners understand the higher level work items and align Product/Team Backlogs to the train overall objectives
  • Ensures the entire Agile Release Train understands the context and direction by forming and communicating the train multi-quarter plan
  • Represents the ART in the (System) Function 3inabox meeting
  • Implements the Function Roadmapwith focus on the next 2 quarters with a planning horizon ~1year, receives function roadmap from Function Owner

Education and experience

A Master in preferably Physics(/Optics) or Mechanics/ Mechatronics.
