Role and responsibilities
The Research department is looking for a motivated Mechatronics architect to work on the next generation EUV Mechatronics modules for our systems.
This position is part of the research organization looking into technical challenges and opportunities for the future of ASML. You will be working in a multi disciplinary team being responsible for the design, simulations and testing of a FUMO for the next generation actuation systems.
Education and experience
(Technical) UniversityMaster or PhD in Mechatronic system design/Electrical engineering or similar.
Broad knowledge of mechatronics system design at ASML.
Knowledge of sensor, actuator and functional design.
Designing and performing verification experiments and qualifications.
Translating multidisciplinary insights in proposals for prototype designs.
Experienced with Matlab.
Electromagnetic actuation and system dynamics experience is a plus.

Context of the Position
Research department at ASML looks at the next generation requirements for our machines and tackles some of the most difficult future bottlenecks in scanner performance. In order to make our machines faster, a next step in actuation technology is required. Be part of the team as a mechatronics designer to make the next step actuator for ASML.
This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
