A job as a Contamination ControlEngineer at ASML Linkou Factory could be your perfect path to new knowledgein multiple engineering disciplines.
Support and advise the Manufacturing & Logistics department on contamination control,i.e. machine and clean room related processes and issues, in order to optimize production flow and ensure product quality, short lead-times and ‘short time to market’ by continuous improvement of ASML’s new and existing products and processes.
Role and responsibilities
Lays down operating instructions, process flow charts andprocesses to reduce the contamination risks in our processes.
Supportsthe CRE with their processes, provides knowledge and helps maintainingthe processes for clean room control, like training, standardization ofused materials and way of workings, alterations (e.g. renovations ofexisting clean rooms), measurement group and clean room supervision.[RvL1]
Contributes to the rapid solution of complex faults andissues and takes the necessary initiatives and practical decisions withrespect to the overall way of working and organization in the clean room
Introduce and/or co-develop tooling to reduce thecontamination risks in our processes and clean room and maintain theneeded quality and amount of tools
Creatingawareness and providing training programs for colleagues and externalfield engineers on contamination control
Work withthe supply chain to get a clean product to ASML Linkou Factory
Helps inanalyzing the production process within our factory, points outstructural problems and bottlenecks with respect to contamination, worksout suggestions for improvements and initiates their implementation, ifneeded in close cooperation with the surrounded departments asDevelopment, Operations, and Customer Support.
Pro-activelycooperate with our global network of subject experts to solve ASMLproduct-specific contamination problems.
Education and experience
Relevant bachelor or masterdegree e.g. Physics or Engineering
5+ years of relevant work experience within Clean room Control, Contamination Control, GeneralEngineering
Experience in a production environment with low Volume,high tech products and complex production processes
Preferably knowledge of assembly, adjusting andqualification process in a clean room environment in general
Knowledge about particle / contamination controlmeasurements.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Flow
