You will report to the Mechanics & Industrialization Group Lead in the Wafer Tables and Clamps (WTC) department.

Role and responsibilities

You’ll manage the configuration of all wafers clamping related modules, supporting and advising the group members of the WTC Mechanics & Industrialization group on engineering as well as configuration management processes and way of working.
Next to this operational role, you’ll use this knowledge for the development and cooperation of initiatives within the Mechanical Development cluster for process improvements and you’ll carry out the drafting and implementation of way of working guidelines.

As Mechanical Process Design Owner you’ll:

  • Be responsible for Configuration Management, such as backward compatibility
  • Analyze the impact on BoM and decide on the type of change implementation
  • Enter non-design related data and guide the Engineering Change process
  • Support and advise engineers in the definition of parts, tools and manufacturing sequence
  • Review changes on BoM, Technical Product Documentation (TPD), general standards, release rules and implement them
  • Contribute to the process improvement of programs/projects on behalf of the WTC department
  • Support and advise engineers on changed way of working and processes
  • Act as Key-user in the area of engineering processes and Configuration Management
  • Drive identification and implementation of improvement opportunities within the team/group/department

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering
  • Some years of relevant working experience in a development environment
  • Experience in managing complex processes in a technical multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience with managing configuration changes
  • Experience using Siemens NX and Teamcenter is a must
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management (CMII)
  • Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management
