The Stage Position Measurement (SPM) group within Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for interferometer and encoder based position measurement systemsfor wafer stages and reticle stages. We are searching for an integrator/design engineer who can contribute to the realization of these measurement systems.
Role and responsibilities
We’re searching for an integrator/design engineer for the integration of a interferometric position measurement system for Yieldstar.
You will be part of an scrum team of multidisciplinary designers, who are responsible for specification, design, realization, integration and qualification of our measurement systems. You like to investigate complex issues related to our measurement systems and work together with other ASML teams to define containments and structural solutions.
As an integrator you will be involved in testing our system:
• Arrange hardware for test setups and bring these test setups up and running
• Solve bottlenecks during execution of tests
• Use Matlab to analyze data
• Represent the project in integration meetings
• Investigate what needs to be tested to come to a qualified release of the measurement system, including hardware, electronics, and software.
• Define an integration and qualification plan for the modules together with team, suppliers and the integration team
• Reduce risk in design and product by incorporating early test scenarios
• Facilitate the design team in executing the plan
• Facilitate integration in our factory
As a design engineer you will improve the design of our position measurement system:
• Improve complex algorithms in our drivers and calibrations together with our software teams.
• Improve our electronics and mechanical designs together with dedicated electronics and mechanics development teams.
Education and experience
University, Master in Mechanical Engineering or Applied Physics.
• 0 to 5 years development experience with sufficient technical depth
• ASML experience preferred
