Role and responsibilities
As Finance Planning Specialist, you take a pro-active role in designing and developing Planning solutions for the Corporate Financial Planning processes within ASML. Also, you actively support and improve the process and tooling landscape, you enable Business Control and Financial Planning & Analysis to provide Senior Management with timely and high quality historical and forward-looking information and recommendations.
The Finance Planning Specialist takes a pro-active role in driving for future proof processes and tooling to support the long-term financial plan, corporate global annual budget cycle and monthly financial reviews, ensuring high quality planning information in terms of relevance, content, accuracy and timeliness. In this role you strive for automation and optimal ease-of-use.
You will play a key role in driving continuous improvements through initiating and executing changes together with subject matter experts, including IT, which enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of financial planning information, tools, processes, analysis and organization. Within this broader responsibility, you will have the specific task to also act as the key-user for our planning applications (SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud) which includes detailed understanding of the functional application layer and ability to understand the technical application layer. Further, as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will enable and support the preparation of presentations for Senior Management, the Board of Management and the Supervisory Board.
Education and experience
To qualify for this challenging position you need an academic degree in Business Economics, or Business Intelligence (or similar).
You have at least 3-7 years relevant working experience inFinancial Planning or Business Intelligence and demonstrated experience in managing complex financial processes and tools. You have extensive experience with planning applications (SAP Analytics Cloud is preferred, SAPBPC or similar isan advantage) and related tools (SAP BW, BI reporting, etc.) and the ability to structure and coordinate projects.

The Business Insights & Controlorganization plays a key role in ASML’s overall Finance organization. The Finance Planning Specialist reports to Manager Product Owner and Cycle Support within Business Insights & Control Consolidated team, and interacts with controllers of the business lines, sectors, group functions, regions across the globe, IT and project teams.The ASML Finance department operates in a dynamic environment where learning, commitment, business partnering, flexibility and continuous improvement are top of mind.
