We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers – to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics.
The Development & Engineering Department in the ASML Veldhoven office is currently expanding and we are searching for a Senior Agile Scrum Master.

Role and responsibilities

Job Mission
You will be the coach and facilitator for the team. Although you have no authority over Scrum team members, you do have authority over the process.

Job Description
- Coach the team in the scrum / SAFe process
- Deal with and solve impediments
- Guide in the culture and team morale
- Stimulate to self-organization
- Act in team conflicts
- Understand and implement the of scrum way of working
- Promote and support the scrum way of working
- Conduct various interactions within, without and between scrum teams
- Take the ownership of multiple (medium size, and small) products. The engineers working on these products are in one single, co-located, multi-functional clusters team.
- Drive increasing the Agile maturity of the team, in a scaled Agile WoW (SAFe)
- Help in driving the change within the Metrology DUV Exposegroup in cooperation with related ASML programs, Business Lines etc.

Education and experience

Education
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Embedded Systems or equivalent.
- Relevant Scrum Master Education

Experience
- 5-15 year work experience of which at least 2-3 years in a Scrum Master role in an agile environment
- Experience with software development in a large Agile Delivery Organization is required
- Experience within a high-tech embedded environment is highly desired
- Applying Scrum preferably in SAFe environment with a track record of improving team level agility
