Then the position of Factory Preparation Engineer in the EUV Factory Install group might just be the job for you.

The Factory Preparation Engineering team is responsible for the engineering support to EUV customers, local offices as well as the ASML Veldhoven EUV factory.
Within the group two main competencies exist:

·The “facility infra requirements” competence consists of expertise in the specification of “Gas/Water/Power/Footprint”, including pre-vacuum, abatement and H2 that the customer factories have to provide to enable the installation and operation of the EUV system.

·The “interconnects installation/cabin equipment” competence consist of expertise in the installation and integration of interconnect materials to the EUV system at customer sites.

The holder of this position reports to the manager Factory Preparation Engineering in the EF install department.

Role and responsibilities

Secure a 1st time right pre-install work preparation, knowledge transfer and direct support for customer factory pre-install to local customer support teams, customers and ASML factory to enable a flawless install.

1)Review and influence design choices to secure factory preparation.

2)Define and influence processes and tooling to secure volume factory preparation.

3)Create, release and maintain the HVM Pre Install Package which includes:

·Installation Requirements Manual

·Pre Install Manual

·Utility Data Sheets

·Several Technical Drawings

4)Present on-line /on-site to customers and local Customer Support offices the detail of new or updated Pre-install Packages.

5)Support pre-install execution by local Customer Support offices / ASML factory with your expertise.

6)Audit the customer factory preparations before arrival of a new system type or platform.

7)Initiate improvement proposals based on customer/ASML fab experience.

8)Review and write procedures, sequences and checklists for the interconnect materials in our Veldhoven ASML factory.

9)Act as second line [Production Engineer] support for infra and interconnects in the ASML factory.

10)Define the factory layout and factory user specifications for ASML Veldhoven Factories

11)Prepare and support organizational changes

Education and experience

A bachelor or master degree in a technical discipline, for example:mechanics, constructions, electricity.

8 or more years’ experience in:
A production environment with high tech products and complex processes.
Affinity with installations and interconnects.
Transforming a pilot production environment into a volume production environment.
Dealing with customers and / or local Customer Support offices’.
Preferably AutoCAD experience.

Willing to travel international; up to 2-3 times a year, 1 - 2 weeks abroad.
English written and spoken
Experience in change management preferred.
