Introduction to the job
Your mission is to deliver/integrate high quality modular software components in applications in C++, Python and Java to improve our Brion products and integrate them with ASML machine specific knowledge and systems.
Role and responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating clear specifications on requirements, making a high quality software design and to 'make it happen' by also implementing the design and verify and test the implementation. You will work on existing software modules and integrating software components in existing systems. You will work in close collaboration with peers in your local team as well asremote teams (US) and will communicate details about the software design, implementation and issues effectively and in an efficient way.
Education and experience
Education:
Master (MSc) in Computer Science, or in relevant field with a proven track record in software development.
Experience:
- Multi-language experience (C++, Java, Python)
- Experience using Unix as a development environment
- Experience using all-round development tools (Unix Shell, Git, IDEs, etc.)
- Experience in designing and developing collaborative, complex, multidisciplinary software systems is preferred.
- Experience setting up/administering Linux installations is preferred.

You will be part of a small team of software engineers who work from within the applications business unit of ASML in Eindhoven, reporting to Brion in San Jose (US).
