The Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner position is a full life cycle recruiting opportunity, where the incumbent will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers across technical / engineering teams to attract and hire high quality candidates. ASML is a fast paced and complex engineering organization that sources candidates in a very competitive engineering labor market. The TA Partner will work closely with business leaders and the respective HR Business Partner to ensure full alignment of the business strategies and talent acquisition efforts.

Role and responsibilities

The successful TA Partner will bring a balance of strategic and operational recruiting excellence on a daily basis, including but not limited to:

  • Recruitingfor complex technicaland non-technical roles – and understand how to work with HiringManagers in a consultative manner.
  • Learning thebusinesses you support so you have enough knowledge to have relevantconversations with potential candidates.
  • Developingsourcing strategies that are a blend of proactive sourcing and managingintake of applications from multiple sources.
  • Acting as aTalent Acquisition subject matter expert to Hiring Managers – advising andconsulting on sourcing strategies, market dynamics, interview models,branding/marketing activities, compensation, and candidate selection.
  • Having the abilityto find the needle in the haystack – AND get them interested in ourcompany and roles based on our technology, products and projects.
  • Managingcandidates through the hiring process, which includes providing candidatelists/profiles to hiring managers, short listing candidates, coordinatinginterviewing and hiring activities via Talent Acquisition Coordinators,following up with candidates and hiring managers
  • post-interviews, triagingand resolving issues, and dispositioning candidates.
  • Usingtechnology to your benefit, leveraging our ATS and other tools as enablersto your recruiting activities.
  • Partneringwith your colleagues within the recruiting team to deliver results to ourcustomers to meet business objectives.
  • Challengingthe status quo when it comes to making recruiting efforts more effectiveand efficient – process, technology, etc.
  • Having afocus on the candidate experience – from first contact right through tothe offer or reject communications – incorporating professionalism andempathy with every candidate at every step in the process.
  • Meeting withbusiness leaders to provide strategic and operational recruiting updateson a weekly basis.
  • Willing totravel and attend career events as appropriate.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’sDegree and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in recruiting, andideally a minimum of one (1) year in a corporate recruitment environment.
  • Experiencewith sourcing and identifying candidates within semiconductor capitalequipment arena is preferred.

  • Exceptionalcustomer service/management experience – working closely with HiringManagers, HR colleagues, recruiting team members and candidates.
  • Ability tobuild credibility and rapport with all stakeholders in the recruitingprocess.
  • Proven trackrecord recruiting for difficult to fill engineering and technical roles.
  • Successfulexperience sourcing and recruiting international candidates.
  • Ability toleverage multiple sourcing strategies and tools.
  • Effectivemulti-tasker who prioritizes tasks and workload, and manages timeaccordingly.
  • Experienceworking in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and short learning curve ondifferent platforms.
  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability totranslate, statistically analyze data, and effectively report problemsthrough written and/or graphical formats.

  • This position is located on-site at one of our key locations Wilton CT, San Diego CA, San Jose, CA or Portland OR.It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
  • A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a week).
