Introduction to the job

As a Financial Specialist, you are expected to ensure the financial statements are correct and complete creating
the basis for a clean audit trail – with proper substantiation and specification. Being able to make the translation
between our primary US GAAP books and Local GAAP financial statements and into the indirect and direct tax
obligations is crucial in this role.

Role and responsibilities

Your responsibilities are as follows:

Bookkeeping and compliance

●Account Payable posting – verify the GUI/invoice and check the details such like account code, cost center, amount, GUI info….etc. and post with ERP system; and make some accrual/adjustment if needed and at month end close; solve errors when it occurred.
●Arrange for timely preparation of VAT/GUI filings and review VAT/GUI fillings from a financial perspective
●Tax Refund support – verify the related custom/booking data and prepare/provide the import/export/PO…etc. date to NTA per request, communicate and co-work with stakeholders for information alignment.
●First contact towards to vendor to assist in preparation of response (from a financial input
perspective) to queries in efficient & timely manner
● ICY AP Reconciliation with other regions (Asia / Europe / US)
● AP (PO) accounting, Expense / GL journal entry
● Oracle supplier master data (bank and payment term)

Financial Reporting

●Coordinate statutory financial reporting process for legal entities in Taiwan including alignment with Shared Service Centers in Korea and the Netherlands
● Perform audit on annual fixed assets physical count and scrap process
● Ensure compliance with local GAAP and report to differences with US GAAP
● Support on tax data template (TDT) of one entity per Corporate’s request

Audit Coordination

●Prepare / assist in supporting documentation for statutory audit and income tax return compliance,
including CIT filling from a financial perspective

Assisting management as required on any tasks and projects

Education and experience

●Minimum 4 years’ experience with MNC. or equivalent accounting experience in an international business environment.
●Understanding of financial accounting processes; Experience with automation of processes in an ERP .
● Fluent in written & spoken English and Chinese
