Role and responsibilities
The software integrator is responsible for the managing and releasing of assemblies, which are independent software entities. In your activities you have to create baselines, on which teams of software engineers create new functionality, integrate deliverables into assembly baselines and promote them to software releases once they have met the quality criteria and deliver release notes with them.Together with the PO and the SFA you define which features will be delivered in which version and align these versions with the other assembly integrators into full software releases. Together with the test architect you define the test set to qualify the assembly for integration.
Education and experience
Bachelor or Master level with an education in Computer Science.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in software development, software development process and experience with handling large software archives. Demonstrable expertise in software configuration management (ClearCase), Unix/Linux and Python.
Experience in the high-tech industry and/or in factory automation has a preference.

Within this sector the department DUV Expose is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the software of the complex lithographic machines. ASML creates high tech machines; software engineers from DUV Expose FC Optimize are facing several aspects of determining the optimal lens setpoint. A huge code base is maintained and under strict configuration management to provide maximum commonality between different machine types.
The specific position available concerns the extension of the external system interfaces exposed by the ASML TwinScan system.Ensure that the existing behavior of the system remains as is, while introducing new functionality is the key competence in this position. The software integrator works closely together with other software engineers to define the optimal solution for ASML. The softwareintegrator is the owner of a part of the software archive and defines a strategy how to develop new features which are exposed on the system external interfaces.
