We are looking for an experienced Group Lead that can play a key role in bringing our IT Solution Delivery for Operations Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team to the next level.
You are an excellent people manager in an Agile/SAFe world. You are keen on developing and coaching individuals to become valuable members of high-performing teams.
You have a good understanding of the various expertises relevant for the CRE & EHS departments, such as (Smart) Building Automation, Safety & Security systems, Asset management, and facility management.
You closely collaborate with the Leading Coalition of the Agile Release Trains (ART) consisting of a Release Train Engineer (RTE), Chief Product Owner (CPO) and the System Architect (SA) and support them in becoming successful. You have an intrinsic drive towards continuous improvement. As a manager you will also be responsible for portfolio management together with the business stakeholders, budgeting, supplier relationship management and areas of general interest to your team.
Role and responsibilities
In the IT Solution Delivery for Operations department we provide IT services to all ASML Operations departments among which Corporate Real Estate and Environment, Health and Safety. We are in the middle of an agile transformation which results in delivering our services through business facing Agile Release Teams (ART’s). The ART for CRE & EHS will cover all demands for the CRE and EHS departments in collaboration with shared services like Enterprise Application Integration solutions, Robotics, or Mendix LowCode/NoCode.
As Group Lead you will manage the employees working in the ART’s. We collaborate intensively with Enterprise Service Providers and strive for continuously improving the performance of the ART. Delivery Speed and Quality are key, which make your focus on the right craftmanship of your team essential.
As a Group Lead you will have the following responsibilities:
- Identify staffing needs within the ART, in collaboration with the Leading Coalition;
- Provide staffing for the ART with the required competencies;
Work towards a stable staffing for the ART (hire/fire/promote/demote);
- Maintain and improve the domain knowledge within your teams;
- Develop and implement changes to the job profiles and roles of the team;
- Support internal employees with their personal development and provide career coaching;
- Manage supplier relationships, contracting external employees, in consultation with internal parties;
- Act as delegate IT Business Partner of “Portfolio Director” if required. As business partner you will be responsible for the delivery of the sub-portfolio for CRE & EHS in ASML Operations.

To thrive in this job, you’ll need the following skills:
- At least 5 years’ experience with building self-organizing (scrum) teams;
- At least 2 years’ experience in a scaled agile environment (SAFe, LeSS, etc);
- Preferably a technical background or a strong interest in technology;
- Experience in managing vendors and external personnel;
- Experience in an equivalent environment (size, complexity, industry, domain) is a strong plus.
